Smart TV IPTV Tips for the Best Picture Quality

Getting the best quality from IPTV on your Smart TV comes down to three things: internet connection quality, stream selection, and TV picture settings.

Use ethernet over WiFi. A wired connection eliminates buffering on live sport and 4K streams. Most Smart TVs have an ethernet port on the back.
Select the correct stream quality. If buffering occurs, switch from 4K to HD in your IPTV app settings. Most UK broadband is best served at 1080p.
Disable Motion Smoothing. On Samsung and LG TVs, turn off motion interpolation (known as "Soap Opera Effect") for a more natural picture during live sport.
